Managerial levels

First-line managers: First line managers are at the lowest level of Management and manage the work of nonmanagerial employees who are directly or indirectly involved with the production or creation of the organization’s products. They often called supervisions but may also be called shift managers, district managers,department managers, office managers, or even foreman.

Middle managers: Middle level managers include all levels of management between the first-line level and the top level of the top level of the organization. These managers manage the work of first-line level and may have tiltles such as regional manager, project leader, plant manager, or division manager.

Top managers: Managers at or near the top level of the organization who are responsible for making organization-wide decisions and establishing the goals and plans that affect the entire organization. These individuals typically have titles such as executive vice president, presidesnt, managing director, cheap operating officer, chief executive officer, or chairman of the board.
